Driving around Los Angeles and parking at Universal Studios Hollywood is both a stress and an expense that nobody wants when planning an incredible day at one of the best theme parks in the world.
For that reason, when visiting Universal Studios Hollywood we often choose to stay in a hotel that offers a complimentary shuttle to the park. With multiple hotels to choose from offering this service, there’s one for every budget and all requirements.
1. The Sheraton Universal City
The Sheraton Universal City is a four-star hotel, and the closest hotel to the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park.
Located opposite the park’s entrance (roughly an 8-minute walk) this hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle bus, but is, in our opinion, the best place to stay when visiting Universal Studios.

2. Hilton Los Angeles / Universal City
Hilton Los Angeles / Universal City is situated next to The Sheraton Universal City (see above) and is subsequently within walking distance (8 minutes) of the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park.
An extensive range of rooms and suites is available at this four-star hotel with the largest sleeping up to eight guests in total.

3. The Garland
The Garland is a Universal Studios hotel partner and one of the best hotels with a complimentary shuttle to the theme park.

7. BLVD Hotel & Spa
BLVD Hotel & Spa is an incredibly popular three-star hotel located within walking distance of Universal Studios Hollywood (15 minutes). There’s also a complimentary shuttle available across the street from Universal City Metro station (a 6-minute walk).
Multiple rooms and suites are available here, with the largest (the Queen Suite with Two Queen Beds) sleeping up to six people in total.

8. Tilt Hotel Universal / Hollywood, Ascend Hotel Collection
Similar to the BLVD Hotel & Spa, the two-star Tilt Hotel is a 15-minute walk from Universal Studios Hollywood. Alternatively, you can walk 6 minutes to the complimentary shuttle which leaves from the street across from the Universal City Metro station.
This hotel is perfect for larger families with the family suite able to accommodate up to ten people in total.
