Bangkok is the capital of Thailand and more often than not the place you’ll start your Thailand adventure. You can easily spend anything from a couple of nights to over a week experiencing some of the major tourist attractions here such as; Wat Pho and The Grand Palace.

There are two airports that serve the capital of Thailand, Bangkok. The first is Don Muang Airport, which often covers budget airlines with domestic flights within Thailand and the rest of Asia.

Don Muang Airport is easy to get to from Bangkok City Centre and has three incredible airport lounges for those with an airport lounge pass such as a Priority Pass or those who are looking for an additional level of luxury prior to a flight.

The second of Bangkok’s two airports is Suvarnabhumi Airport, this is the world’s ninth busiest airport and sees both international and domestic flights daily with more than 48 million passengers annually.

There’s also a number of major organised tours you can do here that will take you out to explore some of the more rural areas of the city, or even on the backstreets to experience some of the fine, unique food the city has to offer.
