5 Best Coach Trips To Disneyland Paris From England

The bus depot is clearly sign posted at Hotel Cheyenne.

If you’re scared of flying and not confident enough to drive abroad, then travelling by coach to Disneyland Paris can be a great alternative. Depending on your location the journey can take anything from 12 to 24 hours but can be much more affordable and sometimes even more convenient than flying.

In this post, we’re going to be looking at the best coach trips to Disneyland Paris from England. We’ll be looking at different pre-set Disneyland Paris coach trip packages as well as DIY coach trip options to determine which is the best value for money and most convenient.

Package Coach Trips To Disneyland Paris

Harry Shaw

Finalist of the 2018 Coach Tourism Awards Harry Shaw offers an amazing range of coach trips to Disneyland Paris from the UK. At a basic level these trips include;

  • Return coach travel from regional departure points
  • Return channel crossing either by ferry or Eurotunnel
  • Accommodation at chosen Disney? Hotel.
  • Hopper Ticket to the Disney? Parks

At the time of writing the Harry Shaw coach trips to Disneyland Paris don’t include;

  • Any meals or drinks
  • Personal spending, gratuities etc.
  • Travel Insurance
  • Disney? Hotel under occupancy supplements

You can however upgrade your trip within the Harry Shaw booking to include the Disney Photo Pass. Alternatively, this can be purchased at the parks upon arrival.

National Holidays

National Holidays also offer a range of coach trips from the UK to Disneyland Paris. Sadly, the prices are much higher than those found for similar dates throughout 2019 and beyond on Harry Shaws website.

Not only are the prices higher, but National Holidays don’t provide accommodation within any of the Disney hotels. While I appreciate there are plenty of great hotels outside of the Disney park, there is certainly some added magic to staying on-site as we found when we visited Hotel Cheyenne.

Gold Crest Holidays

Gold Crest Holidays has been offering coach trips throughout the UK and abroad for more than 22 years. Without a doubt, one of their most popular coach trips is to Disneyland Paris.

You can board a Gold Crest Holidays coach to Disneyland Paris from any of the stops below – there’s bound to be one near you!

From there you can be looking to pay as little as ?239 per adult and ?79 per child for two nights, three days in an on-site Disney hotel with Disneyland park hopper tickets.

Prices will vary depending on the number of people travelling, the time of year you travel and whether or not you’d like to upgrade to a ‘better’ on-site Disney hotel.

The Coach

When booking any form of coach travel within Europe we recommend using GoEuro. This is a comparison website that uses your route to compare the best journeys (prices, times, length of journey etc). It’s basically Skyscanner but for coaches.

At the time of writing, GoEuro managed to find me a round-trip journey from London to Paris for just ?30. If you’re not from London then you’ll probably find that you’ll need to get a coach to London Victoria and transfer there. In that case, I suggest booking your journey to London separately on one of the most popular coach services in the UK; Megabus or National Express. Not only is it cheaper, but you’ll likely find better availability.

We recommend arranging your travel from Paris to Disneyland by coach, train or taxi with another service (or upon your arrival into Paris depending on party size and time of arrival) as doing it through GoEuro tends to look at major services rather than a connection to more local services.

Being a DIY coach trip to Disneyland Paris, you can select the accommodation that suits your family and budget best. However, as you’ll be without any transportation, I’d suggest staying on-site at one of the Disney hotels.

One of the major benefits to staying onsite at Disneyland Paris is the complimentary transport from the hotel to the Disneyland park every 10 minutes from around 7am until 11pm. Not to mention the extra 2 hours you get in the park daily thanks to Magic Hours!

Of course, Disney hotels do tend to cost more than standard hotels so if you can find one with a complimentary shuttle that’s only a 10-minute drive or so away that better suits your budget, then, by all means, go for it!

We recommend purchasing any Disneyland Paris Tickets (or Disney tickets in general) from Attraction Tickets Direct. We’ve been using them for the past 5 years or so, and have always received the very best rate.

Attraction Tickets Direct have park hopper tickets and day tickets (up to four days) available. These tickets come with all the same benefits of purchasing your tickets on the gate, without the heavy price tag. They also come with discounts for on-site restaurants?(at the time of writing)

Benefits & Drawbacks Of A DIY Coach Trip To Disneyland Paris

While purchasing your coach trip to Disneyland Paris separately?yourself can cause some added stress, it can also save you a lot of money and provided an added flexibility that you’d otherwise not receive when travelling as part of a coach package.

If you’re not a confident traveller or are planning on paying for your coach trip to Disneyland Paris over a number of weeks or months then a pre-set trip might be a better option.

As always we’d love to know what you think about a coach trip to Disneyland Paris in the comments below. Have you travelled from England to Paris by coach? Who did you use and what advice do you have for those looking to make the journey in the future?
