Helen and I have had the pleasure of visiting Disneyland Paris as a couple multiple times (before the arrival of our baby boy Oliver) and have stayed in multiple hotels and in multiple locations during those trips.

1. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne
Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne is a three-star hotel on-site at Disneyland Paris. All on-site hotels at the resort have a theme and in this case, the theme at Hotel Cheyenne is Western which, no surprise features a lot of everyone’s favourite cowboy Woody.
Staying on-site at Disneyland Paris comes with the added benefit of a shuttle to / from the park and extra magic hours which gives you access to the park up to one hour prior to the general public (exact details and timings vary).
Now, this resort may be three-star but in the terms of on-site Disney properties it is classed as budget, and as such, you’ll find a large volume of rooms and guests staying here.
As such the shuttle buses going to / from the Disneyland parks can get incredibly crowded, especially during peak times.
Luckily, however, being on-site at Disneyland Paris does come with the additional benefit of being able to walk to the parks and in the case of Hotel Cheyenne, it’s around a 20-minute scenic walk into the Disney Village.
When it comes to facilities at this hotel you’ll find a buffet restaurant (Chuck Wagon Cafe), a Starbucks, a Disney store and a bar (Red Garter Saloon).
We previously stayed at Hotel Cheyenne during our trip to Disneyland Paris in 2018, and found that while the location was convenient we could have stayed at a far better place in Serris (one stop on the train from Disneyland Paris train station – Marne-La-Vallée Chessy) for the same price.
However, if you’re a huge fan of Toy Story or western-themed books and movies then the cost of staying here may very well be worthwhile.
Amenities:
- Complimentary Shuttle
- Outdoor Swimming Pool
- Buffet Restaurant
- Bar and Snack Service
- Free Wi-fi
- Free Parking
- Fitness Centre
- Babysitting Services
- Meeting Rooms and Event Spaces
- Shopping Area
2. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge
If you’re looking for something a little more adult than Hotel Cheyenne but don’t quite have the budget for Newport Bay Club then consider booking to stay at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge. This is another of Disney’s on-site properties just footsteps from the Disney Village.
Staying here comes with all the Disney on-property benefits including Extra Magic Hours and a shuttle to / from the parks (although walking is often quicker and more convenient).
Being that this is a slightly more premium (and more expensive) hotel than the budget on-site options (Hotel Cheyenne and Santa Fe) you’ll find that dining here is also a premium experience.
When it comes to food Hunter’s Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern is a solid hit and if after that you fancy watching the sunset be sure to head on over to Redwood Bar and Lounge for a refreshing cocktail.
Of course, if you love the sound of that but don’t quite have the budget to stay at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge don’t worry as dining is available to everyone regardless of whether they have a room booked at the hotel or not – just be sure to book a table in advance.
Amenities:
- Free shuttle
- Indoor and outdoor pool
- Fitness center
- Arcade room
- Free Wi-Fi
- Laundry Services
- Bar and Lounge
3. Dream Castle Paris
Unlike some other hotels, Dream Castle Paris offers a free shuttle service to the park every day, especially since it is located a mile (1.61 km) away from Disneyland.
Each room has a flatscreen TV, minibar, and a coffee maker for your convenience. Breakfast is also available so you can get your day started the right way.
Some additional amenities they provide for an extra charge for dry cleaning, and ironing to ensure you always look your best. There’s also a year-round heated pool so that you can go for a swim no matter the outside temperature.
For an additional charge, Dream Castle Paris offers fax machines and meeting rooms for those looking to take care of business on their trip.
The spa costs extra to use, but it offers massages and skin treatments for you and your partner to relax together.
There’s even a waterslide for couples who want to have some fun while relaxing. Though this comes at an additional cost, it’s worth it for couples looking for a little extra rejuvenation. You can inquire at the front desk for packages with access to all this and more.

- Swimming Pool
- Spa Services
- Fitness Centre
- Free Wi-fi
- Free Shuttle Service

4. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel
The newly opened Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is one of Disney’s most premium on-site properties.
Now, I have a confession to make… I am not a huge fan of Marvel *gasp*
However, this hotel still completely and utterly blew me away.
In fact, I want to go as far as to say this is one of the best on-property hotels I’ve ever seen not just at Disneyland Paris but in Walt Disney World and Disneyland California too.
Of course, being a premium property a stay here does come at a high price.
However, if you have the budget available then you’ll benefit from an extensive range of facilities and amenities.
These include a shuttle to the Disneyland Paris park entrance – not that you’ll likely need it since the hotel’s location is just footsteps from the entrance to the Disney Village by Earl of Sandwich.
You’ll also gain access to the Disneyland Paris parks before general admission with Extra Magic Hours which provides you with a fantastic opportunity to head to the park’s most popular rides early and minimise the amount of time you spend queuing.
Marvel-inspired robes are complimentary for you to use during your stay (or take home with you for an additional €150).
For Marvel buffs, you’ll also find The Marvel Design Studio and the Super Hero Station.
These new interactive experiences allow you to learn to draw like a comic book artist and have an incredible photo experience.
Seriously, if you have the budget a stay here is not going to disappoint
Amenities:
- Complimentary Shuttle Service
- Restaurant & Lounge
- Fitness Centre
- Indoor and Outdoor Pools
- Hot Tub

5. Disney’s Newport Bay Club
At the opposite end of Lake Buena Vista to Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, you’ll find Disney’s Newport Bay Club. This hotel is roughly a 15-minute walk from the entrance to both Disneyland & Walt Disney Studios.
This colloquial-themed on-site hotel has long been a hit with those looking for added luxury in a trip to Disneyland Paris.
Being an on-site hotel guests staying here are able to use the shuttle to / from the Disneyland Paris parks (although it’s unlikely you’ll need it given the walk is less than 10 minutes from Disney Village – by Earl of Sandwich)
Alongside this, you’ll also benefit from Extra Magic Hours which give you entry into the park before the general public – giving you a chance to ride the likes of Hyperspace Mountain without having to queue for upwards of 60 minutes – yes, please!
However, being a premium hotel not only is a room here significantly more expensive than the likes of Hotel Cheyenne and Santa Fe but the on-site amenities and facilities are significantly more expansive.
Rooms here often run into the four figures per night, however, those with deep pockets can experience even more that this hotel has to offer with the incredible Compass Club.
Guests booking a Compass Club room will benefit from private reception when checking in, breakfast and afternoon tea in the private Compass Club Lounge alongside personal concierge services and turndown service.
All of this comes alongside incredible accommodation which come in a range of rooms and suites.
Amenities:
- Two Luxury Restaurants
- Complimentary Shuttle
- Two Swimming Pools
- Spa Services
- Fitness Centre
- Meeting Rooms
- Shopping Area
6. Hotel Le Cheval Blanc
About two miles (3.22 km) from Disneyland Paris, Hotel Le Cheval stands out from other nearby hotels because they allow pets in their facility. Most other hotels in the area don’t.
So, if you’re the kind of couple who likes to bring your furry friend with you on trips, this is a perfect option for you, but be aware that additional charges may apply.
The hotel has an outdoor garden for your viewing pleasure and offers board games and puzzles upon request if you want to spend a rainy day inside with your partner.
Additionally, your room comes with a flat-screen TV, satellite service, and an electric kettle to make tea or coffee anytime you want.
Hotel Le Cheval Blanc has plenty of snacks and drinks available upon request. However, the hotel has a restaurant and room service available for guests during mealtime. There’s also a coffee house on-site, so you can grab a cup if you don’t want to make one yourself.
While many of the amenities here are similar to other hotels in the area, the Hotel Le Cheval Blanc stands out because it allows pets to come with you. So, for those couples who love their furry friends, check out this hotel where they’ll be welcome guests.
If you don’t have any pets, this hotel is still a fun and great place for couples, as they offer plenty of entertainment that you can enjoy during your stay.

- Free Parking
- Complimentary Wi-fi
- On-site Restaurants
- Shuttle Service
- Outdoor Swimming Pool
- Meeting and Event Spaces

7. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe
Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe is incredibly similar to Hotel Cheyenne in that it’s a budget Disney property on-site at Disneyland Paris.
The theme of this hotel is American South West, with a significant reference to Route 66 and Pixar’s incredibly famous hit Cars.
However, being a budget hotel there is a large volume of rooms here and a significant number of guests which can result in the shuttles getting incredibly crowded, especially during peak hours.
As such it’s worth noting that you can walk to / from the Disneyland Paris parks here although unlike some of the more premium properties situated around Lake Buena Vista this walk will take around 20 to 25 minutes.
Of course, being a budget option as far as Disney properties go, the facilities and amenities aren’t as extensive here when compared to the likes of The Art of Marvel and Newport Bay Club.
However, there’s still a Starbucks, an extensive gift shop, a bar and an all-you-can-eat buffet (La Cantina).
Personally, I’ve found that you can get significantly better value for money in hotels off-site in the nearby Serris when compared to the budget options at Disneyland Paris.
While these hotels do require you to take the train one stop to Disneyland Paris train station (Marne-La-Vallée Chessy) and don’t come with Extra Magic Hours they do provide a significantly higher-end experience and a wider range of facilities and amenities.
Amenities:
- Complimentary Shuttle
- Swimming Pool
- Free Parking
- Free Wi-fi
- Restaurant & Lounge
- Shopping Area
8. L’Elysee Val d’Europe

In addition, L’Elysee Val d’Europe offers honeymoon suites for newlyweds, and all rooms, in general, are soundproof. Your room will also have a walk-in closet, flatscreen TV, and an electric kettle for making tea and other hot beverages.
The hotel offers plenty of accessible rooms for guests with disabilities, like grab rails for toilets, elevators, and wheelchair access. In addition, the front desk is available 24 hours for guests to help you purchase tickets to the park or accommodate special requests.
There are also laundry services for a fee, such as ironing, dry cleaning, and more to keep you looking your best. So whether getting your clothes wet due to unexpected rain in the park or getting a stain on your favourite shirt, the L’Elysee Val d’Europe staff can take care of the problem for you.
Wine and champagne are also available to be brought to your room upon request for an additional fee. So, you don’t even have to leave your room to have a drink with your partner. Alternatively, there is a bar in the hotel for any other drinks you may want that aren’t offered for delivery.

Each room has a kitchen that allows guests to cook and eat whenever they want without being on the schedule of a restaurant. You can use the refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher to get your meals done on your own time. Cooking for yourself can certainly help cut food costs, and many couples enjoy cooking together rather than eating out.
Whether you choose to cook for yourself or enjoy the local cuisine, there’s a BBQ facility with an outdoor eating area for you to enjoy.
The rooms are made to provide you with the best possible stay. You have access to a drying rack for your clothes, an electric blanket to stay warm and cosy at night, and a flatscreen TV to help you relax and unwind after a day at the park.
