Review: Craghoppers Luggage Range

To say we travel a lot is a little bit of an understatement. We spend 80% of our time travelling around the world. We also have been finding our feet with what bags are best for what trip.

While we travelled around Europe we used our 20l Karrimor backpack, which was great until they started to show signs of age. We used them and abused them but it was time to find something new and more long lasting, that?s when Craghoppers got in touch.

Craghoppers had recently brought out a whole range of luggage for a range of uses and it is safe to say we are excited! They had such a range we couldn?t decide what was going to be best for each trip. So luckily for us we got to choose a selection to try out, some for everyday life and others for travelling.

Craghoppers 3 in 1 Pack Away

Who doesn?t love a pack away bag? More times than not when we have gone away we have needed an extra bag.

Many times we use it for day trips out so we don?t have to unpack our main backpack or when we go food shopping. The pack away backpack is a great use for those extra tips where you need to separate anything off.

The bag itself can be rolled into a small parcel and tucked away into a side pocket of your main bag.

Craghoppers Complite Backpack 16L

I personally chose this one as I was looking for a bag to use every day. I wanted something that was going to last and was light enough to be folded away when I wasn?t using it.

I loved this bag as soon as I saw it, it was small easy to use and had everything I needed. It came with multiple pockets and zip shut compartments making it easy for me not to lose anything.

Craghoppers Kiwi Pro Backpack 22L

What we really like with the Craghoppers Kiwi Pro range is the versatile uses for the backpacks. As they are made from lightweight fabric you can use them for pretty much anything.

Both the Craghoppers Kiwi Pro 22L and the Craghoppers Kiwi Pro 30L have multiple zipped areas perfect for keeping everything organised and in place. They both have a water tube hole for those who go hiking.

Both Craghoppers Kiwi Pro backpacks come with a wide range of inside storage, there are several different pockets which are great for keeping everything organised.

For example, I used many of mine to keep cash for the holiday separate and my journal. I also like that they included a laptop sleeve as we do a lot of travelling and always take our Macs with us. The bag is so versatile in ways to use it, from everyday use to hiking in the countryside to backpacking Europe.

Below is an example of what we packed in the Craghoppers Kiwi Pro 22L backpack for a week away to Fuerteventura. We fit all this in the bag and still had a little room to spare. We also noticed that the airflow back was great especially in the hot weather it made such a difference.

Craghoppers Kiwi Pro Backpack?30L

We used this on our week-long holiday, as you know we travel light at 20L usually so having a 30L was a great upgrade. I really appreciated the extra padding on the straps on this backpack as it made it much more comfortable to wear. The best thing is the cooling aerator panel on the back, this allows the air between your back and the rucksack move and keep cool.

Below is an example of what we managed to fit in our 30L Craghoppers Kiwi Pro backpack for a week-long holiday to Fuerteventura. The bag was a big step up from our last bag which was the only 20L.

I was really glad to be able to fit more in the bag even though I packed lighter than I have in the past on our travels. I really saw the benefits of the space and compartments in the bag straight away. As we are travelling it is easy to just place things anywhere and then, later on, you find yourself pulling everything out to find that one thing.

My favourite part of the suitcase is that the frame itself is light and easy to carry. With the material being made from canvas and having a waterproofing treatment it makes this suitcase a great contender for future travel.

Craghoppers 70L?Holdall Duffle Bag

We decided to spend a few nights away from home, quite last minute. We were driving so we didn?t have to restrict our packing in any way. I pulled out the duffle bag, unrolled it and started filling it with clothes.

It was so simple to grab and go, perfect for if you plan to go from the car to the hotel room. Even better if you are going camping as the bag is waterproof and made from very sturdy fabric.

Another great aspect of the bag is that if you wish to use it as a backpack, you can do. There are straps that are easily hidden away while they aren?t being used and easy to set up for when you want them.

Conclusion

There isn?t one of these bags that I would not use, due to each having such a versatile range of uses it is easy to see why we can use them all. I think my favourite bag has to be the 16L day bag or the Kiwi Pro 30L just because we use backpacks much more than suitcases.

I also think that being able to travel with one bag makes such a difference to us so it is great to find a bag that fits that need.

I appreciate the added feature of the airflow back on both go the Kiwi Pro backpacks for when we do a lot of travelling or walking around in the heat, it made such a big difference.
