Since decided to pack up and travel we realised one thing, clothes need to be hardwearing. Your clothes really get pushed to breaking point. We ended up washing ours in showers, sinks and having to dry them when and where we could. Unfortunately, since starting out on our travels we have been through too many t-shirts, trousers and underwear, none of it was lasting. It was starting to become a nightmare needing to find clothes to replace the worn, dirty and stained ones was getting expensive. Luckily Craghoppers came to the rescue just in time for our upcoming trips to Orlando, Florida and Iceland. Check out our Craghopper review…

We were kindly sent a variety of items from their Spring/Summer collection to review. Since we have been struggling to find clothing that would not only wash well but survive a more rigorous lifestyle we realised it was time to try something tougher. Though Cora has had a pair of shorts she loves and we already have a new waterproof jacket neither of us owned anything more than that. We both owned a waterproof coat (that we love) from Craghoppers already we decided that they would be a good fit for us. With a wide variety of shirts, t-shirts, dresses, shorts and warmer layers there really was the option for a whole new wardrobe.
The Spring/Summer range has a number of elements to make your travels safer and more comfortable. The products range from having wrinkle-free fabrics making them great for travelling around with a limited backpack. UV sun protection in shirts to keep you protected no matter where in the world you are and insect repellent trousers protecting you from any insect bites possible.
Helen’s Favourite Pieces
The Vector jacket is a great addition to Craghoppers fleece collection with its great style and lovely colours. I chose the Vector jacket as I like to be able to wear it zipped up and undone. The Craghoppers fleece is great as it keeps you warm and it works well as an outer layer or an insulator layer. I like layering up my jacket with my NosiLife Carmel top and Traverse trousers.
NosiLife Carmel Short Sleeved T-shirt
This has to be on of my favourite pieces in the Spring/Summer collection as a lot of the time when we are travelling we go out to nice places for meals or go to conferences. Many of the times I haven’t felt like I looked the part and in this top, I get the best of both. The NosiLife Carmel top has UV sun protection as well as the insect protective construction making it the perfect top to partner with travel trousers or leggings.
NosiLife Luna Tights
Though they are called tights they are more like leggings. Another of my favourite and actually love wearing them with my Carmel top. They are really comfortable and just like a second layer of skin, I really like that they aren’t see through but thin enough to wear in hotter weather.
The leggings are great as they again are UV sun protection material as well as insect-protected making them perfect for hotter climates. I really like the look and feel of the leggings and they are great as an underlayer for colder weather. I took to layering up the leggings with the Traverse trousers perfect for hiking and icy climates.
Cora’s Favourite Pieces
Callins Hooded Top
The hooded top is a really comfy and has a really nice detailing around the neck. The Craghoppers fleece is perfect for layering up on a cold day or adding a layer after sunset. The Callins hooded jumper is great for all weathers and seasons due to its insulating qualities.
The jumper fits great and is a great base layer for wintery days. I really like the jumper as it is simple but detailed in the style. The best part is having 2 hidden pockets on the side, unnoticeable to the eye as the invisible zip makes the jumper look streamline from afar. It is great to find an item that looks great but is also functional.
NosiLife Appleton Long Sleeved Tee
This again is another favourite as it is from the NosiLife line. The top is made in a soft light jersey perfect for layering up with the Callins jumper on colder days or wearing alone in hotter climates. The top has insect-repellent treatment woven into the fibres of the top.
It is also great for travelling if like us you need to wash and go. The top has wash and wear meaning you can wash, it is quick drying and no need for ironing. This is great for us as we really need to be able to look nice without the fuss of ironing while we are on the road. The top looks great with anything especially the traverse trousers and Callins Craghoppers fleece.
If you are looking to head off on an adventure with Duke Of Edinburgh or just a holiday I would definitely recommend checking out the new spring/summer collection at Craghoppers. While we were already fans of their clothing we are even bigger fans now. Let me know in the comments if you have had anything from Craghoppers before and what your favourite item is. I would love to know your thoughts on our Craghoppers Review.
