There are seven hotels that offer the convenience of being within a 2km walking distance (roughly 20 to 30 minutes depending on your pace) of the Disney Village / Disneyland Paris area.
I’ve gone ahead and organised this list from the hotel closest to the resort at the top to the ones furthest away at the bottom.
Unsurprisingly you’ll generally find that the distance is also reflected in the cost of a room per night with the closest hotels costing the most money and those slightly further away (towards the bottom of this list) costing significantly less in comparison.

1. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel
Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is the closest hotel to Disneyland Paris located just outside of the Disney Village roughly five minutes from the entrance of Disneyland & Walt Disney Studios.
The hotel opened in 2021 and is the most high-end, modern hotel at the resort. Of course, these facilities and close proximity come at a price with rooms here often exceeding £200 (€250) per night.
One of the best times to visit Disneyland Paris is during the off-season, not only because the parks are quieter resulting in shorter wait times, but also because hotels in the area are cheaper too!
Now, I have a confession to make… I am not a huge fan of Marvel *gasp* However, this hotel still completely and utterly blew me away.
In fact, I want to go as far as to say this is one of the best on-property hotels I’ve ever seen not just at Disneyland Paris but in Walt Disney World and Disneyland California too.
Being that this hotel is an on-site Disneyland Paris property you’ll not only benefit from being footsteps from the magic of the parks but also other exclusive benefits including Extra Magic Hours.
This provides you with a fantastic opportunity to head to the park’s most popular rides early and minimise the amount of time you spend queuing.
Of course, being a premium property a stay here does come at a high price.
However, if you have the budget available then you’ll benefit from an extensive range of facilities and amenities.
There are two swimming pools here, which you can head to from your room in your fancy Marvel-inspired robes which are complimentary for you to use during your stay (or take home with you for an additional €150).
Alongside this, you’ll find a Starbucks, a sports bar, a boutique and an incredible restaurant with a range of Marvel-inspired products and holiday essentials (chocolate, sweets, crisps, sodas etc.)
For Marvel buffs, you’ll also find The Marvel Design Studio and the Super Hero Station.
These new interactive experiences allow you to learn to draw like a comic book artist and have an incredible photo experience.
All this can be found alongside a fitness centre, sauna, steam room and three incredible restaurants.
Seriously, if you have the budget a stay here is not going to disappoint!
2. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge
This is the second closest hotel to Disneyland Paris and is located just next to Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel along Lake Buena Vista.
This hotel is within walking distance of Disneyland Paris. The walkway is situated around the lake and through the Disney Village (at the bottom near Chef Mickeys and Earl of Sandwich) and takes around ten minutes.
Staying here comes with all the Disney on-property benefits including Extra Magic Hours.
Alongside this, you’ll also find additional facilities including both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool (open during the summer months).
Being that this is a slightly more premium (and more expensive) hotel than the budget on-site options (Hotel Cheyenne and Santa Fe) you’ll find that dining here is also a premium experience.
When it comes to food Hunter’s Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern is a solid hit and if after that you fancy watching the sunset be sure to head on over to Redwood Bar and Lounge for a refreshing cocktail.
Of course, if you love the sound of that but don’t quite have the budget to stay at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge don’t worry as dining is available to everyone regardless of whether they have a room booked at the hotel or not – just be sure to book a table in advance.
3. Disney’s Newport Bay Club
Located at the far end of Lake Buena Vista is Disney’s Newport Bay Club. This hotel is based on a nautical theme and is roughly a 15-minute walk from the entrance to both Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios.
Much like Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel & Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, you can walk to this hotel from the exits at the Disney Village (at the bottom near Chef Mickeys and Earl of Sandwich).
Alternatively, you can take the free shuttle bus to this hotel from the entrance opposite the Marne-la-Vallée train station. To be honest, waiting for a bus and then getting the bus is a longer process than walking.
Again, being an on-site hotel guest staying at this property will benefit from Extra Magic Hours which give you entry into the park before the general public. These added perks are ideal for those with only one day at Disneyland Paris.
However, being a premium hotel not only is a room here significantly more expensive than the likes of Hotel Cheyenne and Santa Fe but the on-site amenities and facilities are significantly more expansive.
These include both an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool alongside a solarium, spa and fitness centre.
Newport Bay Club is one of the best Disneyland Paris hotels for couples, and that’s reflected in the more mature theming and the choice of two luxury restaurants (fine dining and buffet) and a bar.
Rooms here often run into the four figures per night, however, those with deep pockets can experience even more that this hotel has to offer with the incredible Compass Club.
Guests booking a Compass Club room will benefit from private reception when checking in, breakfast and afternoon tea in the private Compass Club Lounge alongside personal concierge services and turndown service.
All of this comes alongside incredible accommodation which comes in a range of rooms and suites.
4. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe
Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe was inspired by the Disney Pixar film Cars and is one of the cheapest hotels close to Disneyland Paris with a free shuttle to the parks. However, you can also walk to Disneyland from this hotel, although it isn’t very well documented.
To get to the park walkway you’ll want to head through the entrance and walk as far down as you possibly can, not turning left or right. This will bring you out to the lake which you can then turn left along and follow.
Once you get to the lake where there’s a dedicated pathway with directions and signposts.
This walk takes you into Disney’s Sequoia Lodge which you’ll continue along until you reach the lake once again.
From there you’ll be able to see Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and the Disney Village. Turn right, past the Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and through security into the bottom of Disney Village by Chef Mickeys.
You can also take a bus from the Disney parks to Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe. These buses are free, leave the entrance opposite the Marne-la-Vallée train station and run every 10 minutes until one hour after the parks close.
This hotel is one of the largest hotels at Disneyland Paris, and with relatively unknown walking routes many people opt to take the shuttle bus instead. This leads to incredibly busy shuttle buses – especially at peak times.
As such, if you’re someone who doesn’t enjoy waiting around or fighting to get on an incredibly crammed bus, walking may be a better option.
Of course, being a budget option as far as Disney properties go, the facilities and amenities aren’t as extensive here as compared to the likes of The Art of Marvel and Newport Bay Club.
However, there’s still a Starbucks, an extensive gift shop, a bar and an all-you-can-eat buffet (La Cantina).
Personally, I’ve found that you can get significantly better value for money in hotels off-site in the nearby Serris when compared to the budget options at Disneyland Paris.
While these hotels do require you to take the train one stop to Disneyland Paris train station (Marne-La-Vallée Chessy) and don’t come with Extra Magic Hours they do provide a significantly higher-end experience and a wider range of facilities and amenities.
5. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne
Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne is the furthest on-site hotel at Disneyland Paris (Excluding Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch is also owned by Disneyland Paris but is sadly not within walking distance given that it’s located almost 8km away).
This walk is not very well documented and not heavily signposted within the hotel complex itself. Instead, it’s only when you get out onto the pathways between hotels that you’ll begin to see some signs.
To walk from Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne to Disneyland Paris you’ll want to cross over the lake to Sante Fe. You can do this in two places; either at the top opposite the Chuck Wagon Cafe or at the bottom of the resort (head as far south as you can pass Starbucks and then turn left).
Once you cross the bridge over into Santa Fe you’ll begin seeing significantly more signposts on your route along the lake.
The distance between Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne and Disneyland Paris is around 1.2km with the walk bringing you out at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge and then requiring you to turn right up past Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and into the Disney Village.
You can also take a bus from the Disney parks to Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne.
When it comes to facilities at this hotel you’ll find a buffet restaurant (Chuck Wagon Cafe), a Starbucks, a Disney store and a bar (Red Garter Saloon).
We previously stayed at Hotel Cheyenne during our trip to Disneyland Paris in 2018 and found that while the location was convenient we could have stayed at a far better place in Serris (one stop on the train from Disneyland Paris train station – Marne-La-Vallée Chessy) for the same price.
However, if you’re a huge fan of Toy Story or western-themed books and movies then the cost of staying here may very well be worthwhile.
6. Aparthotel Adagio
Located in the north of Serris, 1.2km from Disneyland Paris is Aparthotel Adagio.
Aparthotel Adagio has a number of complexes in the region, a number of which are within walking distance of the Disneyland Paris parks or accessibly via the RER train from the nearby Val d’Europe station.
However, this particular Aparthotel Adagio is the closest and allows you to walk to the Disneyland Paris parks in roughly 20 minutes.
While this walk does have a pedestrian pathway for the entire distance the directions are not well documented and while it is relatively straightforward, it’s still worth having Google Maps handy just to ensure you don’t have to walk any longer or further than you have to.
This hotel isn’t owned or run by Disneyland Paris and as such, there are no Extra Magic Hours. However, there is still a complimentary shuttle between the hotel and the park, albeit it is operated and run by the hotel rather than Disney itself.
This hotel is an aparthotel and as such, you’ll have the facilities expected of an apartment in your room.
Unsurprisingly this can be incredibly convenient for families or those looking to keep their Disneyland Paris spending money to a minimum since you can cook and eat at your accommodation rather than in a restaurant or out on the go.
7. Hotel l’Elysee Val d’Europe
The four-star Hotel l’Elysee Val d’Europe is located at the back of the Val d’Europe shopping centre, 1.9km from Disneyland Paris.
Much like the walk from Aparthotel Adagio Serris, you’ll find that while there is a pathway along this route there are little to no signposts and documentation for walkers.
Instead, you’ll want to ensure you have Google Maps handy just to ensure you don’t have to walk any longer or further than you have to.
If you don’t fancy walking the 25 – 30 minutes to Disneyland Paris from this hotel, an alternative is the RER since the Hotel l’Elysee Val d’Europe is right outside the station.
Journeys on the RER from Hotel l’Elysee Val d’Europe to Disneyland Paris (Gare de Marne-la-Vallée) cost €1.90 one way and take around five minutes.
Once you exit the station you’ll be at security, and straight into the hub between Disney Village, Disneyland & Walt Disney Studios.
Unlike many other properties on this list, the Hotel l’Elysee Val d’Europe is not owned and managed by Disneyland Paris.
As such you don’t get Extra Magic Hours. However, a complimentary shuttle that runs between the hotel and the parks is still provided, albeit run by the hotel itself.
This hotel definitely has a more mature feel to it with amenities and facilities to reflect its four-star rating.
However, don’t let that put you off if you’re visiting as a family as the Hotel l’Elysee Val d’Europe accommodates families in spacious family rooms complete with additional facilities.
