Center Parcs Ten Pin Bowling: 2026 Guide

Bowling is one of the most popular Center Parcs indoor activities. This attraction recently changed its pricing model from a per-lane charge to per-guest, and unfortunately it’s not for the better.
The old per-lane price has been replaced with per-guest pricing:
- £6.50 per person for a game before 6pm.
- £7.50 per person for a game from 6pm onwards.
This guide covers what bowling at Center Parcs is like, the new 2026 pricing, how it compares to the old model and the cheaper late-night alternatives that run in the same building.

Center Parcs Ten Pin Bowling Prices (2026)
Center Parcs recently changed the pricing model for ten pin bowling. They replaced the per-lane charge with per-guest pricing, so every player now pays the same rate regardless of group size:
- Before 6pm: £6.50 per person per game
- From 6pm onwards: £7.50 per person per game
There are no discounts for children, larger groups or on second games. Every player pays the same.

Selected activities at Center Parcs use dynamic pricing to increase bookings during off-peak times. This can be a great way to save money without really compromising on the experience.
For bowling, that’s during the day (before 6pm) where you’ll pay £1 less per person. So if you are bowling with a family of four, playing before 6pm saves £4 per game (£1 per person).
What to Expect at Leisure Bowl
The Whinfell Leisure Bowl has 12 Brunswick lanes with modern scoring systems. Unfortunately this activity feels dated compared to the newer Entertainment Hive across the village. The lanes work fine and the game plays exactly as you would expect, but the room has an early-2000s bowling alley feel.
If you want a more modern and visually striking Center Parcs activity space, try the Entertainment Hive (The Bat Cage, The ARENA, Puttify, Interactive Shuffle, Interactive Darts) instead.
- Game length: About 45 minutes for a group of four; slightly longer for larger groups.
- Bumpers and lightweight balls: Available on request for younger players, so mixed-age families can play together.
- Drinks to your lane: Order from the bar via your phone and drinks are delivered to your lane while you play.
- Dress code: Closed-toe shoes only. Bowling shoes are provided at the desk.
- Finding the lanes at Whinfell: Walk past the bar and arcade at the front of the Leisure Bowl building; the lanes are through a separate room at the back.
Alternatives to Bowling at Center Parcs
If bowling does not suit your group size, budget, or the time you want to play, Center Parcs offers plenty of alternative activities. Some of my favourites include:
- Arcade Bowls (until 6 September 2026): An alternative bowling format running through the summer season.
- Late Night Lanes (Wednesdays and Fridays, 8:30pm to 10:30pm): A late-night bowling session with music and atmosphere lighting, best suited to adults or older teens.
- Silent Disco (Thursdays and Sundays, 8:30pm): £3 per person. Not bowling, but runs in the same building.
