Center Parcs is a popular holiday destination for families and people in the UK. With 5 locations to choose from it can be a holiday home from home for many. It is also a great place for families to take part in a number of different activities.

Do You Have To Pre Book Activities At Center Parcs?

No, you do not have to pre-book activities, it is mostly advised during peak times. Peak times include school holidays, bank holiday weekends and December/ Christmas time.

If you are looking at a variety of activities and you are not sure which you want to do you can hold out but you might not be able to pick a time that is more suited to you. The quicker you decided the more convenient of a time slot you will be able to get.

We found that we booked 2 activities for our first trip and we were going in off-peak time and found it was very quiet and we could have turned up at any time to book onto our chosen activity.

If there is an activity you really want to do I would suggest booking when you can. Remember when you book the activities you will be required to pay in full or pay a deposit of the activity at that moment, otherwise the time slot is open to others to book.

Top Tip: When you are phoning to book they will need a reservation number or booking reference to allow them to attach the activities to your booking.

That way when you log back online you can see what you have part of your itinerary.

This may be more useful if you are going as a larger group and only certain members of the group are taking part or you need to book anything more specific.

You can pay by credit or debit card or by voucher over the phone. Vouchers will need specific information which will be given by the operator and to be posted off.

The most popular option for booking activities for Center Parcs is online. You will be required to log in and have a reservation before you can book activities.

Online you can find the location in which you are booked into and browse the available indoor and outdoor activities. You can look at certain categories such as for children, family activities and adults only etc.

You can browse the different activities with short descriptions of each activity and see in more detail of what it includes and what is required.

Here is a useful link of the different resorts and a PDF file with every activity they have, a list of prices, age requirements, days of the week and duration of the activity.

Payment online will be by credit and debit card which you can choose or have a saved card for purchases.

In Person

Once you have arrived at Center Parcs and you are all settled in you might fancy going bowling one night or playing tennis one of your days. These are activities that don’t get booked up as quick as the others as they aren’t as popular.

More often than not you can find a time slot the same day (in off-peak seasons) or a slot for the next day (in peak season).

You can book activities at the designated desk at each area for example in the Outdoor activity center there will be a desk in which you can check times, book activities or general queries and check in for your time slot.

These are really easy to do and the staff are always very helpful. During one of our trips we found that many of the activities we wanted to do were available the same day so we could pick and choose when we wanted to do them.

This also gives a little more freedom to go with the flow and relax during your holiday. Though I would recommend if there is any activity you really want to do, book it in advance to save you from disappointment if there are no available slots during your stay.

You can pay by cash, credit or debit card and also by voucher at the counter.
