Parking In Padstow, Cornwall: The Ultimate Guide

Parking in the picturesque town of Padstow can be a nightmare. Especially in the summer.

I visit Padstow at least once a year on a trip to Cornwall. So, I’m sharing my list of car parking locations to help you find a parking space quickly and easily on your next visit.

Harbour Car Park

Harbour Car Park is situated in Padstow Harbour. You’ll find a range of restaurants here, including that of celebrity chef Rick Stein.

There are 146 spaces here, including disabled and motorbike spaces. Adjacent to this car park is the Railway Car Park, which has 203 spaces. So I suggest going there next if you can’t get parked here.

Railway Car Park

The Railway Car Park is in front of the National Lobster Hatchery next to Padstow Harbour. There are 203 spaces here, making it the 2nd largest car park in Padstow Town.

The 203 spaces include several disabled, motorbike, motorhome and coach bays. However, coach parking is limited to 4 hours, and motorhome parking is prohibited overnight.

Lawn Car Park

Lawn Car Park is just off the B3276 at the top of town. It’s roughly a 10-minute walk from here down to Padstow Harbour.

There are 99 parking spaces here including spaces for disabled, motorhomes and coaches. There are no dedicated motorbike spaces at Lawn Car Park. However, motorbikes can park in a standard car parking space.

Link Road Car Park

Link Road Car Park is the largest car park in Padstow, with 300 spaces. However, this car park is atop a steep hill, 15 minutes from Padstow Harbour.

I’ve never had to park here since I’ve always found a parking space at one of the car parks listed above. However, given the number of spaces, this would be my first stop if I was visiting Padstow in August or on a bank holiday.
