With having been on multiple trips to Center Parcs in a number of the locations, I can clearly say that you will always forget something you need.
It is a given, I do it every time we go on holiday. But it can be hard to know what exactly you need to be packing if you are not completely sure what is included in your lodge.
Center Parcs lodges are well equipped and come with pretty much everything you need to make your stay comfortable and easy-going. But there might be some items that you are still unsure about and want to know if you can get them or if you have to bring your own.
The lodges at Center Parcs are very comfortable, cosy and well laid out for a family.
The layout and the styling of the lodges are perfect for a family break with the use of a bath for children along with an open plan kitchen living area to keep an eye on children or infants while you cook.

In each lodge, there will be a small cupboard at the entrance or to one side. In there you will find the iron and ironing board along with some cleaning equipment. Things such as a sweeping brush, mop and bucket, dustpan and brush and a vacuum.
These are mainly for the cleaning staff when they come to clean between visits but are available for guests to use, especially if you have a spilt drink or need to clean any of the areas of your lodge.
We found this really useful as we were visiting with children who liked to make a mess and we could tidy up each day.
If you find anything is missing you think you should have such as a tin opener or frying pan, be sure to head to guest services or ring and they can get one to your lodge for you.
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions for people visiting Center Parcs for the first time.
Do You Need To Take Toilet Roll To Center Parcs?
Each toilet inside your lodge comes with 2 toilet rolls. However, once these are used they will not be replaced. Instead, you’ll need to buy your own toilet roll and while the Parc Market in the village centre stocks packs of toilet roll, they are often incredibly overpriced when compared to the packs you can get at the supermarket.
The list of what to take to Center Parcs can be long if you’re travelling with a large family, or are going on one of the mid-week or week-long breaks at the park. However, bringing these items can also go a long way in helping you save money on your Center Parcs holiday too.
Do You Need To Take Towels To Center Parcs?
No, you do not need to take towels to Center Parcs, shower and hand towels are provided. Each guest gets one hand towel and one bath towel.
The in-room towels are not to be used at the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. If you wish to go swimming take your own towels or rent them for £2 a towel at the centre.
Don’t forget there are a number of different activities you can do for free or you can pick one to book from the list and learn a new skill.
Are There Hairdryers In The Center Parcs Lodge?
Yes, there are hairdryers in the Center Parcs lodges. Depending on how many rooms you choose, there is a hairdryer within each room along with a mirror area and a stool to sit on.
Is There A Washing Machine In The Center Parcs Lodge?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a washing machine in the Center Parcs lodge. There are also no laundry facilities on-site at Center Parcs.
If you require to do any washing we would advise you to take some detergent in a bag and wash your items in the sink. Alternatively, you can pack an extra 1 or 2 of certain items to cover you for emergencies.
Do You Need To Take Bedding To Center Parcs?
Bedding for single and double beds are provided along with 2 pillows per bed.
However, you will need to bring bedding with you if you require a cot. Cots are provided along with the mattress but not the bedding to fit.
Do Center Parcs Lodges Have Microwaves?
All Center Parcs lodges and apartments come with a full-sized microwave. The microwave is located above within a cupboard to provide more counter space.

Yes, all Center Parcs lodges and apartments have irons and ironing boards. They are located in a cleaning cupboard within the doorway area of the lodge.
Does A Center Parcs Lodge Have Heating?
All Center Parcs lodges and apartments come fully equipped with heating and a thermostat to change the temperature. Each bedroom and bathroom comes with a radiator, each of which can have the temperature adjusted by the dial on the side.
Along with the heating you have the use of the log burner in the living room where you can bring a pack of logs with you or buy them from the ParcMarket. We really enjoyed having the logs on an evening, especially during our visit to Center Parcs at Christmas time.
Can You Use A Firestick, Now TV or Roku In A Center Parcs TV?
You can use any of the above systems on your Center Parcs TV. Some of the TV’s maybe a little older depending on the location and if it was refurbished recently.
We found our TV was mounted into the wall, which meant we could not plug anything into it. Some of the TV’s may not be smart TV’s so you may be a little limited.
Make sure you have all the right cables and leads to make your system work during your stay, and don’t forget to unplug it to take home at the end of your stay.
Does Center Parcs Have Netflix?
Due to the TV’s within the lodge being quite basic models they do not have the amenities to have Netflix. Alternatively, if you have a Firestick, Now TV box or a Chromecast in which you can plug into the tv you can watch Netflix that way.
Are There Board Games At Center Parcs?
Only executive lodges include board games along with a game room including a pool table. Standard lodges and apartments do not come with board games.
These are only available in the 4 bedroom lodges and may differ depending on the location in which you wish to visit.
If you wish to play any board games you would be required to bring them. Things such as monopoly, a pack of cards and multiplayer games are great for a cosy night in.

Each living room tv comes with a DVD player plugged in and connected. You can bring your own films or hire them from the ParcMarket.
Do Center Parcs Lodges Have Freezers?
Each lodge comes with a fridge and a small freezer. The freezer is located at the top of the fridge with a small door opening. It isn’t very big but great to hold a couple of ice lollies or some fish fingers for dinner that night.
If you aren’t sure if you want to eat out or dine in, get a starter pack to your lodge on your arrival with a few necessities to get you started with juice, milk, breakfast items and snacks.
Are There Coffee Machines In The Center Parcs Lodge?
There are coffee machines in the Center Parcs lodges and apartments. Depending on the location may depend on the brand of the coffee machine. A popular coffee machine that is used is the Bosch Tassimo machine.
The lodge provides 3 pods in total, so you might want to look at packing more or buying more from the ParcMarket.
Can You Bring Your Own Food To Center Parcs?
Yes, and many people who visit regularly will advise you to bring your own food. There is a supermarket on site (ParcMarket) which is just smaller than a local Co-Op and sells food, toiletries, magazines, alcohol and medicines.
The prices though are inflated and can double your normal shop prices. If you are unsure about what to bring we suggest bringing things for breakfast, snacks, sauces and cooking oils. We found that we required more daytime meals and snacks for lunches than evening meals.
You can bring food from home to use up what you already have or go food shopping on route to Center Parcs to buy dedicated food for your trip. Don’t forget things like juices, dilute, alcohol and hot drinks.
Do Center Parcs Lodges Have High Chairs?
Yes, each Center Parcs lodge will come with 1 cot and 1 highchair. If you require more or in a larger size lodge then you may have 2 of each in place.
If you do require a second highchair you can request this on your booking or at guest services during your visit.
Do Center Parcs Lodges Have Wifi?
While the lodges themselves don’t have dedicated wifi hubs and rooters there is guest wifi available throughout the village and lodges at Center Parcs.
This is so you can access the wifi no matter what part of the village you are in. You can learn more about the speeds of the wifi and its availability in our dedicated Center Parcs wifi post.
